Alphonzo Rawls #3.

Vert dog on an H-Street curb attack.

I don't know if this has been on the internet yet. I think companies ran different ads for Poweredge. It happened last year with an Ocean Howell Gullwing advertisement. I wish I'd gotten more issues of The Edge back then, but it might have been a minor miracle even a few copies of the mag wound up in my corner of New York.

Daniel H. Sturt took the photo.

I was able to get Poweredge pretty regularly in Connecicut but I didn't buy it for awhile. The kids I got into skating with were pretty obsessed with what was cool at the time and they had decided Poweredge was definitely not cool. Honestly, I have no idea why? Soon enough I realized I was the one buying all the mags anyway so I added it to my pickups. I know for sure that I had the Jason Jesse interview but can't remember much else from it anymore unfortunately.

That's odd. We would just buy up anything skate related back then and it's not like there was much to choose from. Poweredge isn't online much. I've pretty much exhausted what little I have and I think there's a little at the Chrome Ball Incident.
