There's supposed to be a bunch of gray buildings in the background of this ad. The contrast wasn't there in my issue of Thrasher so I made the background all black so it would look better. It still seems like it came out a little redder than it should have.
I believe that spot was the Suzuki bank off of imperial Blvd in Yorba Linda CA. I was lucky enough to skate it back in 1988 before it was skate proofed. However I couldn't do much on that over vert transition at that time. Gonz, Jeff Hartsell and Neil Blender had coverage from there. The Gonz had a Vision ad of him stalling frontside pivot. Suzuki was still as of 2011, I know because I know someone who worked there and then got laid off by them.
